Cleaning and airing
After the last group of guests left, we proceeded with the thorough cleaning and disinfection of the houses, washing sheets, duvets, floors, kitchen equipment ... We carried out maintenance works on the accommodation (walls, furniture and decoration) to improve comfort. and prepare for the reopening of the units.

Closure of accommodation and activities
On March 13, we ended our experiences and accommodations in order to help protect our community: employees, suppliers, partners and the local population.

Rooms against Covid
We enrolled Casa Cerro da Correia and Casa da Sicó in the “Rooms Against Covid” project to welcome health professionals free of charge.

Contingency plan
We designed the Covid 19 Contingency Plan that will be used in accommodation and in experiences. It defines individual protection strategies for workers and guests, as well as rules for cleaning and disinfecting houses.

Prepare the future
Thinking about life after the pandemic and in order to better respond to possible health problems of employees and customers, we highlighted the location of the health center and the fire station (which are 10 minutes from Casa Cerro da Correia and Casa da Sicó) on our map with the services available in Manteigas. In parallel, we made a protocol with a private doctor.

Clean & Safe Certificate
Casa Cerro da Correia, Casa da Sicó and our Tourist Entertainment Activities received the Clean & Safe seal, certifying that they fulfill all the requirements demanded by Turismo de Portugal, among which the definition of an internal cleaning protocol and hygiene and the creation of specific procedures for our guests.

After preparing the hygiene and disinfection plans, conduct rules for employees and customers, we decided to reopen our accommodations.

Renovação da Certificação Clean & Safe
Renovámos o selo Clean & Safe relativo à Casa Cerro da Correia, a Casa da Sicó e as nossas Atividades de Animação Turística. Aos compromissos assumidos no ano anterior, soma-se agora o reforço dos nossos procedimentos de higiene e desinfeção, de acordo com as mais recentes diretrizes da Direção Geral de Saúde.

Plano de contingência - Adaptação
Adaptámos o Plano de Contingência Covid 19 às normas impostas pela Resolução do Conselho de Ministros n.º 91-A/2021, que será utilizado nos alojamentos e nas experiências.
