In Covão do Boi is located a set of pedunculated and columnar blocks, resulting from erosion, locally known as 'queijadeiras'. Near this place of high geological interest, you can also visit a sculpture of the patron saint of the shepherds - Senhora da Boa Estrela - made in low relief in granite. Over 7 meters high, this piece by Antonio Duarte was inaugurated in 1946.
